ACRONAL LA 471 S is mainly used in the manufacture of nonwoven interlinings on account of its high wash fastness and resistance to dry cleaning. It is also employed as a binder for nonwovens used for personal hygiene and medical applications, and in the production of wipes and cleaning cloths. We also recommend ACRONAL LA 471 S for coating and laminating woven and knitted fabrics.

Processing

ACRONAL LA 471 S can be applied by all conventional coating, wet impregnation and spraying techniques. It can be made into foam by stirring or blowing in air. The stability of the foam can be improved by adding surfactants and/or thickeners.
