Applications

JONCRYL 74-A is a soft film forming, RC acrylic emulsion that provides film formation and excellent rub, water, and grease resistance to ink, overprint varnish, and functional packaging coating formulations. Additionally, this product allows the manufacture of high slide angle coatings for folding carton and multi-wall bag applications.

JONCRYL 74-A is recommended for applications such as:

  • Printing inks for flexographic or gravure applications
  • Overprint varnishes for packaging applications
  • Functional packaging coatings for barrier or film/foil applications
