ACRONAL 4160
ACRONAL 4160
ACRONAL® 4160 is a low VOC, non-APEO, styrene-acrylate copolymer dispersion and is recommended for use in waterproofing membranes. Due to its high glass transition temperature (Tg), a film forming aid is required in formulations to ensure desired polymer particle coalescence (i.e. film formation). Dry films that are produced by ACRONAL 4160 are strong and water resistant.
Although ACRONAL 4160 is protected from attack by microorganisms, preservatives must be added to the produced formulation in order to ensure that their quality remains unimpaired over along storage periods. Prior experiment is essential for checking their compatibility and efficiency.
