ARALDITE® EPN 1138 is a semi-solid, polyfunctional phenol novolac epoxy. It is a semi-solid, multifunctional material that superior chemical resistance and heat stability properties.
ARALDITE EPN 1138 has a 3.6 functionality which enables the development of coatings with high resistance to chemicals and temperature. These characteristics make it suitable for applications such as tanks and pipes in aggressive environments.
ARALDITE EPN 1138 is also suited to the manufacture of pre-impregnated materials for electrical, electronics and structural applications. Upgrading of epoxy resins for electrical grade laminates to meet the requirements of:
- IEC 249-2
- MIL-P-13949 F, Type GF
- NEMA FR-4
