ASP® 102 kaolin is a very fine particle-size, standard brightness grade of aluminum silicate and is pre-dispersed to have a neutral pH. It is offered as easy handling, spray-dried beads. Spray drying helps control airborne nuisance dust. ASP 102 is chemically inert and has been specially modified with dispersants for ease of dispersion.

ASP 102 kaolin is designed for use in water-borne, semi-gloss coatings, and for high-shear rubber compounding systems. Neutral pH will have minimal effect on cure rates when compounded into rubber systems.

Typical applications include water-borne semi-gloss coatings, mechanical rubber goods, TPE/TPO.
