CAPROMER M (Epsilon-caprolactone)
CAPROMER M (Epsilon-caprolactone)
CAPROMER® M (Epsilon-Caprolactone) is a building block for resins such as saturated polyester and unsaturated poly- esters, a modifier for OH-acrylic resins, OH-polyester resins and epoxy resins. It is also a building block for polymers by ring-opening reactions with polyols or with water.
With a combination of flexibility and hardness (toughness) CAPROMER MÂ can provide special mechanical properties in segmented polymers.
CAPROMER M is suitable for use in coating applications:
- As an intermediate for two-component paints for plastic coatings and automotive repair coatings
- Creating polyurethane dispersions for water-borne and UV-coatings
