Dispex Ultra FA 4420 stabilizes inorganic and organic pigments in water and solvents. In addition, it makes the polar ingredients of universal colorants which are used in non-polar solvent-based paints more compatible. This results in:

• maximum color development of the colorant
• higher pigment loading
• optimum color acceptance of the colorants in the base-paints

Applications for DISPEX Ultra FA 4420

Used in combination with EFKA® 4560 and/or EFKA® 1503, Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 is suitable for the formulation of universal colorants for decorative paints. Added to the (solvent- or water-based) base paint, Dispex Ultra FA 4420 increases compatibility and color acceptance.

Dispex Ultra FA 4420 is an activator for bentonites as well as for associated and acrylic thickeners.
