EFKA® FA 4644 is an additive for pigment dispersion. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders on one side and the vehicle on the other side. This means:

• reduced dispersing time
• stabilization of the pigment dispersion
• reduced pigment sedimentation
• increased gloss
• improved flow

Applications

EFKA® FA 4644 is compatible with all coating systems (solvent-free or not). The pot life of two-pack systems is not affected. Advantages offered by using EFKA® FA 4644 when dispersing organically treated bentonites:

• shorter dispersion time
• easier handling of bentonite gel
• improved storage stability
