Flexbond 156
Flexbond 156
Flexbond® 156 emulsion is a water based acrylic sensitive adhesive with high shear performance. Because of its high molecular weight, it can accept large amounts of tackifier and retain adequate shear performance.Â
Flexbond 156 emulsion is compatible with most vinyl acetate homopolymers and copolymers. It can be blended to change levels of adhesion, dry tack and cohesiveness.
This product has found wide application in the mastic and tile adhesive industry since it can tolerate high loadings of fillers and tackifier resins. Because of its high shear resistance and plasticizer migration resistance, it can be used in flooring and carpet tile adhesive applications. Flexbond 156 emulsion has also found application in adhesive formulations for protective films and paper and may also be used to improve the shear and thermal resistance of pressure-sensitive adhesives. Flexbond 156 emulsion has excellent mechanical stability and was developed to with stand high-speed coating conditions.
