FoamStar® ED 2526 can be used as a defoamer in various water-based coating systems. It functions well during the application of paints and lacquers and also prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring, pumping, etc.

FoamStar ED 2526 was developed for water-based industrial coatings. It is recommended for use in coatings based on alkyd resin solutions and alkyd resin emulsions.
