FOAMSTAR® SI 2299 is a highly effective deaerator and defoamer for spray coating applications, but also for brush and roller applications. The product is particularly suited for airless/airmix spraying, but as well as for brush and to a certain extent for roller applications, providing excellent foam knock down and elimination of micro foam in these applications. It shows also an excellent long-term defoaming persistency.
FOAMSTAR SI 2299 has to be incorporated with sufficient high shear mixing. For easier incorporation a predilution in suitable solvents might be necessary dependent on the viscosity of the formulation.
