HIFILL® N mineral additives add value to a wide range of plastic and rubber systems, including improved scratch and mar resistance, superior weatherability, better fusion characteristics for PVC, and more.

Produced from a unique, all-natural sodium – potassium – aluminum silicate feedstock, the additives are available in ultra-fine, precisely controlled particle size distribution for optimum performance. HIFILL® N allows for formulation and processing cost reduction while not adversely impacting the products’ physical properties and durability.

High-purity and low tint strength preserves the color integrity and optimizes pigment dispersion in colored products. Due to its low oil absorption and inertness, this material does not react nor affect the efficiency of other system components such as stabilizers, surface modifiers, and processing aids. The additive is not hygroscopic and does not require special storage conditions or drying procedures.

The morphology and surface chemistry of HIFILL® N provide for efficient dispersion and compatibility with various polymers. This material improves the thermal conductivity and rheology of polymer melts, resulting in significant energy and cost savings from more efficient processing conditions. High dielectric and compressive strength properties do not affect performance for dielectric applications.
