Hypro 1300X21 ATBN
Hypro 1300X21 ATBN
Hypro 1300X21 ATBN – Hypro® Reactive Liquid Polymers (RLP) are 100% solids liquid rubbers used to improve the toughness, flexibility, adhesion, and impact resistance of thermoset resin systems including epoxies, vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics, and urethanes. These materials are a family of butadiene homopolymers and butadiene- acrylonitrile copolymers with functionality at the chain ends. Functional groups are carboxyl (COOH), amine (NH or NH2), methacrylate, or epoxy. The acrylonitrile content varies in these polymers from zero to 26% which directly affects the solubility and glass transition temperature (Tg) of the materials.
This product is amine-terminated butadiene- acrylonitrile copolymer used predominately with other amine functional compounds to improve product performance when added to thermoset resin systems. The amine structure in Hypro 1300X21 is based on N- aminoethylpiperazine (N-AEP).
Hypro RLP is low molecular weight synthetic rubber that has chemical functionality. These reactive additives impart rubber properties that can improve toughness, flexibility, and impact resistance. They can also increase T-Peel strength, impart low-temperature properties, and improve adhesion to substrates.
Hypro reactive liquid polymers are butadiene homo-polymers and butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers with terminal functionality.
