JONCRYL BRC 662
JONCRYL BRC 662
JONCRYL® BRC 662 is an acrylic colloidal emulsion comprising of 50% renewable raw materials on solids. It is suitable for pre- and post-print corrugated board and kraft paper applications.
This material has excellent transfer and color strength as well as outstanding resolubility on press. It is hard enough to withstand the hot scuffing encountered at the corrugator.
Applications
- Versatility for different press applications
- Suitable as a modifier to add renewability to inks designed for labels, folding cartons, and point-of-purchase displays.
Features & Benefits
- Conjugated inks based on this material show good press performance with excellent transfer and printability
- Can be used in both pre- and post-print corrugated inks because of its inherent hot mar resistance properties
- Can be formulated with commonly used defoamers and wax additives to improve press stability and scratch resistance
- May be used to raise the renewability content of other types of inks, such as those designed for labels, folding cartons and high-quality point-of-purchase displays
