LAROMER GPTA
LAROMER GPTA
LAROMER® GPTA is a trifunctional, low-viscosity polyether acrylate serving mainly as reactive diluent for oligomers such as epoxy acrylates and polyester acrylates in radiation-curable ink and overprint varnish formulations. Its cutting power is similar to that of trimethylolpropane triacrylate.
This product is an excellent film former with moderate shrinkage providing fast curing response and high gloss. Although corresponding radiation-cured films are hard, they are more flexible than and not as brittle as those trimethylolpropane triacrylate.
LAROMER GPTA is used for the formulation of inks and overprint varnishes curable by UV or electron-beam radiation for printing on paper and board as well as for the formulation of pigmented and non-pigmented UV- or electron-beam-curable offset inks providing exceptional ink/water stability.
Features & Benefits
- Excellent curing speed
- Good flexibility while maintaining high hardness
- Outstanding ink/water balance in UV- and electron-beam-curable offset application
