Mergal® 174IIP is a free-flowing powdered organic wet-state microbiocide designed for use in aqueous products which are subject to bacterial deterioration. It is useful in products in which water becomes a primary component during use. Examples of such products are resin emulsions, adhesives (non-food use), pigment dispersions, joint cements, and drilling additives. Use of this product in paints, stains, coatings, and institutional and household cleaning products is prohibited.
