SERICRON® talc products can be used in coatings and construction applications where the high brightness associated with the SMI TALCRON® talc products is not required. SERICRON talc products are produced from an extensive deposit of high quality Montana platy talc ore. This talc ore has good chemical resistance and in paint and coatings formulations, improves corrosion resistance, water permeability and film integrity. SERICRON talcs can also be used in construction products such as joint compound, adhesives, sealants, putties, caulks and other such areas where a platy particle improves spreadability and application properties while controlling overall formulation cost.
