SIPOMER® Wet Adhesion Monomers are dedicated to improving architectural, industrial coatings, and adhesives. These monomers are very efficient and in most applications, an addition of 0.5% to 3% of these monomers deliver significant performance and bring functionality to your polymers.
SIPOMER’s Wet Adhesion Monomer line was custom designed to combine the benefits of amine and ureido functionalities in a single monomer. These product into the polymer backbone greatly improves wet-adhesion of both all-acrylic and vinyl-acrylic latex paint systems for both interior and exterior applications. They modify the latex binder, enabling it to wet the pigment particles more effectively, due to reduced interfacial tension.
