Starvis SE 25 F
Starvis SE 25 F
Starvis® SE 25 F is a specially designed starch ether that is suitable for sag-resistant applications.
With this product, more user-friendly and easier-to-handle mortar systems can be obtained. Starvis SE 25 F improves workability, trowelability, and reduces stickiness without increasing the water content of the mortar (low shrinkage, low water absorption) in tile grouts and floor tile adhseives. Influence on yield point and retardation are at a minimum level. This makes this additive a choice for manual and machine-applied plasters or skim coats.
Starvis SE grades are are valuable rheology additives for cementitious and gypsum-based dry mortar systems. In combination with cellulose ethers (CE), polyacryl amides (PAM), and others, the consistency of a dry mortar can be adjusted on-demand. These grades are responsible for the improved workability of dry mortars.
