TINUVIN 640 FF
TINUVIN 640 FF
Tinuvin® 640 is a high molecular weight ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) which imparts outstanding light stability to a variety of polymers and other organic substrates, esp. engineering plastics. Tinuvin® 640 offers lower volatility than other UV absorbers typically used for polyolefins.
Tinuvin®640 is especially suited for thermoplastics like polyolefins, polyalkylene terephthalates, polyacetals, polyamides, thermoplastic polyurethanes and polyurethane fibers, as well as for polyvinylchloride, styrene homo-and copolymers. Applications include molded articles, films, sheets and fibers.
Features & Benefits
Tinuvin®640 features exceptional light absorbing characteristics and good compatibility in various substrates. This makes the product particularly suitable for applications characterized by high surface area, such as films and fibers. In addition, this product offers lower volatility than other UV-absorbers typically used for polyolefins.
