ARALDITE DY 3601
ARALDITE DY 3601
ARALDITE DY 3601 is a polypropyleneglycol glycidyl ether used as a low viscosity epoxy resin based on a polypropylene glycol, designed to lower the viscosity and increase the flexibility and impact resistance of coatings, primers, floor toppings. Its addition to a system may also result in reduced chemical resistance and reactivity. It is usually added in amounts ranging from 5% to 30% on the binder (epoxy resin + hardener). ARALDITE DY 3601 is 100% reactive. Unlike non-reactive plasticizers such as dibutyl phthalate, it is incorporated chemically into the epoxy system and will not diffuse from paint films.
