Bisomer LMA is a hydrophobic, monofunctional methacrylate monomer with a low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) and is excellent as a flexibiliser and plasticiser.

Bisomer LMA is based on a natural form of lauryl alcohol; as C12 lauryl methacrylate the content is around 65-70 %.

Bisomer LMA is mostly used in the automotive industry for viscosity modification of lubricating oils. However, due to its hydrophobic nature and flexibilising properties, Bisomer LMA is also extensively used in anaerobic adhesives, vacuum impregnation of aluminium castings, sealants and pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs)
