JEFFSOL® EC-50 Carbonate
JEFFSOL® EC-50 carbonate is a 50/50 wt% blend of JEFFSOL Ethylene Carbonate in JEFFSOL Propylene Carbonate. The product is a clear, mobile, hygroscopic liquid at room temperature. It is an excellent solvent for many organic and inorganic materials in such applications as surface cleaners, degreasers, dyes, fibers, plastics, batteries, aromatic hydrocarbons, and natural gas. The product is also useful as a gellant for clays and a binder for foundry sand. It also finds use an an accelerator in epoxy formulations.
