ARADUR 355
ARADUR® 355 Hardener is a modified cycloaliphatic polyamine adduct and is used as a high performance hardener for epoxy resins for application in coatings and linings in a variety of environments. In particular, ARADUR 355 is suited for resistance to solvents and high temperature service. When used with an unmodified liquid epoxy resin, ARALDITE GY 6010 or low viscosity bisphenol F type resin, ARALDITE GY 281, this hardener provides very good performance properties. Heat and chemical resistance properties can be further enhanced using multifunctional epoxy resins such as ARALDITE EPN 1179 or low viscosity epoxy phenol novolacs, ARALDITE EPN 9850 or ARALDITE PY 307-1.
Typical coating areas applications include: linings in aggressive environments, tank linings, secondary containment, floorings, solvent containment areas, cargo ship tanks, waste disposal plants, and refineries
