ARALDITE PY 382 is a low viscosity bisphenol-F based liquid epoxy resin. It is suitable for the formulation of solvent-free coatings, floorings and troweling compounds applied to steel and concrete substrates. When used in conjunction with suitable epoxy hardeners, ARALDITE PY 382 is also suitable for the formulation of industrial composite systems. The reactivity of formulations based on ARALDITE PY 382 is similar to that of formulations based on unmodified bisphenol-A epoxy resins. Although ARALDITE PY 382 may crystallize under adverse storage conditions, it has been demonstrated that it possessed a better resistance to crystallization than standard bisphenol-F based liquid epoxy resins. If it occurs, crystallization can be reversed by heating the resin to 40°C while stirring or to 60 ºC without stirring. ARALDITE PY 382 may is compatible in any proportion with other epoxy resins.
