ATTAGEL 50
ATTAGEL 50
ATTAGEL® 50 is an inert powdered gelling grade of attapulgite. It is finely pulverized to effectively form colloidal gels in ionic and non-ionic aqueous solutions to provide thixotropic thickening and suspension.
ATTAGEL 50 is recommended for use in paint and coatings applications where sag resistance, spatter control, and syneresis control is required. In most organic liquid systems, it can impart thickening and suspension when dispersed with an appropriate surfactant. It is also used in agriculture suspension products for suspending the active formulation ingredients.
