Based on ethylene oxide, Bisomer® PEM6 LD is water soluble and contains a primary hydroxyl group. It is non-toxic and has an EINECS “polymer” classification.

Bisomer PEM6 LD has a low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) and offers excellent plasticising properties when incorporated into polymers.

Bisomer PEM6 LD is ideal in the preparation of hydrogels, wood impregnants, soil stabilisers and polyurethane dispersions (PUDs). It is also used extensively in the manufacture of more traditional acrylic polyols and urethane methacrylate oligomers for use in photo imaging applications such as printed circuit boards (PCBs) and dry film resists (DFRs).
