Proxel® LS Preservative is a dual-active, broad-spectrum biocide for the wet-state preservation of industrial, water-based products that prevents spoilage caused by bacteria, yeasts and mold (fungi). It is an aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and sodium pyrithione with a pale yellow appearance.
The preservative is pH- and temperature-stable and can be easily incorporated into a wide range of industrial products. Proxel LS Preservative benefits from the use of two complementary active ingredients, providing an enhanced antimicrobial efficacy.
Proxel LS Preservative is registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency, EPA Reg. No. 1258-1366.
