RHEOVIS® AS 1420 is a thickener for polymer dispersions and other aqueous systems. It can also be used as a protective colloid if resin solutions are mixed with polymer dispersions.

Unlike traditional acrylic thickeners, which are most effective in the alkaline pH range, RHEOVIS® AS 1420 has a maximum thickening effect in polymer dispersions at a pH of about 5.
It can also be employed as a protective colloid in the production of resin dispersions and if resin solutions are mixed with polymer dispersions.
