SOLAPLEX® is a novel chemistry, Pigment Yellow 216. These pigments are a unique range of yellow and orange complex inorganic pigments made by high-temperature reaction of metal oxides or salts. They are universally compatible and are recommended for high-performance coating applications and plastics applications, where wheatherfastness, thermal and chemical stability are critical parameters. They are ideal for blending with organic pigment to produce cost-effective bright solid color shades.

The SOLAPLEX range offers unique color properties in the yellow and orange color space. Offering high reflectivity, exceptional performance, and excellent durability typically associated with mixed metal oxide pigments. SOLAPLEX’s clean bright shades can be used as an alternative to cadmium and lead chromate pigments in exterior coatings, adhesives, elastomers, coils coating, and plastics.
