SR 112 resin is a general purpose silicone coating resin found useful as a vehicle for high heat and weather resistant coatings. It combines outstanding heat resistance and weather durability with an unusual balance of flexibility, hardness and curing speed.

SR 112 silicone resin is widely used as a vehicle in the manufacture of high temperature resistant enamels and aluminum paints. SR 112 resin is suitable for silicone-based coatings on boiler stacks, furnaces, space heaters, incinerators, jet engine parts, and exhaust manifolds. It is also used in zinc rich primers to promote adhesion.
