BUCA® kaolin is a highly pulverized, very fine particle-size, standard brightness grade of aluminum silicate with a neutral pH. BUCA is chemically inert and has been specially modified with dispersants.

BUCA kaolin is recommended for use in gravure inks, and is an excellent extender in a wide variety of polymeric systems. Its neutral pH will have minimal effect on cure rates when compounded into rubber applications.

Typical applications include solvent-borne gravure inks, mechanical rubber goods, rubber sealants/adhesives, BMC/SMC, wire jacketing.
