Flexbond 150
Flexbond 150
Flexbond® 150 emulsion is a vinyl acetate-based copolymer, which dries into a film exhibiting pressure sensitive properties. Flexbond 150 emulsion offers good tack and peel properties with moderate shear properties. This emulsion is mechanically stable and has excellent machinability. The dried film of this emulsion is completely clear and has excellent water resistance. This film also resists discoloration and “bleed-through” with aging, and degradation by ultra violet light, oxygen and ozone.
It is compatible with most vinyl acetate homo-polymers and copolymers and elastomeric lattices. Flexbond 150 can be compounded readily to selectively change such properties as “quick-stick” and low temperature peel strength.
Features & Benefits
- Suited for use in permanent pressure sensitive applications, including labels, decals and tapes
- Used as an adhesive base for laminating plastic film to scrims and nonwovens
- Proven to be very effective in decorative vinyl chloride film applications
